After selling a plethora of smartphones worldwide, Chinese OEM Xiaomi, termed the "Apple of China" by some, is all set to launch the successor of Mi 4 (review) in November this year, if rumors are to be believed.
The first teaser image of Xiaomi Mi 5 has surfaced online. The image reads the text "Are you ready". Other than that, the presence of a fingerprint sensor has been confirmed given a part of the thumb print at the bottom. Nothing has been official so far.
Xiaomi Mi 5, codenamed Libra, is rumored to be equipped with a 5.3-inch quad HD display (with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels). It is also believed to boast of a 16 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, and a 6 MP front camera.
A recent benchmark leak of the device shows its score as 70K+ on AnTuTu, a popular benchmarking application. With an exact score of 73,075, this smartphone is all set to take the industry by storm. Note that no other device has fetched such a score so far.
