[Smartphone] Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen with 4G support launched in India

Motorola today launched the improved version of its successful smartphone, the Moto G 2nd Generation. This new version supports 4G LTE. The first version of the device was launched last year in the country for 12,999 ($200 approx.). Its price was then reduced to 9,999 ($155 approx.). Now, the manufacturer has launched the 4G variant at an even reduced price of 8,999 ($140 approx.).

The 4G variant has the same specifications as that of its predecessor, except the fact that it supports 4G LTE.

The device is equipped with a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash. The front camera is a 2 MP shooter.

The device is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 processor
, and is coupled with the Adreno 305 GPU. It has 1 GB RAM, and 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB.

The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display, with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has 2,390 mAh battery.

The smartphone supports dual SIM, with one of them supporting 4G LTE. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

It will be available for pre-order on October 15th, and is priced at 8,999 ($140 approx.).
