Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo with fingerprint sensor launched in India for ₹17,499

Lenovo has today launched its latest mid-level smartphone, the Vibe P1 Turbo, in India. It is the newest addition to the Vibe P series of devices, and features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the Home button. Note that a similar setup was seen on the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 5.

The Vibe P1 Turbo features a metal-and-glass design. It runs on 64-bit 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 616 processor, and is powered by 3 GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The device comes with 32 GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card. The smartphone has a battery of 5,000 mAh capacity, and supports quick charge. On the connectivity front, the Vibe P1 Turbo supports 4G LTE and NFC.

The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The device packs a 13 MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), and a 5 MP front camera.

The device will be available next week onwards in silver and grey color options. It is priced at ₹17,499 ($265 approx.).
