As reported earlier, Lenovo has today launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the Vibe K5, in India. Note that it was first announced at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona earlier this year. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, which was also announced at the MWC, has already launched in India in March.
The smartphone features a full metal aluminum body with curved corners. It runs on Vibe UI, which is based on Android Lollipop. The battery capacity of the device is 2,750 mAh, which is removable.
The device is powered by 2 GB RAM and 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The inbuilt storage is 16 GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card. It supports 4G LTE, along with the usual connectivity features like WiFi and Bluetooth. It is a dual SIM (both micro) smartphone.
