InFocus Epic 1 with deca-core processor launched in India for ₹12,999

InFocus has today launched their latest smartphone under the new Epic series of devices, the InFocus Epic 1, in India.

The smartphone features the MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 deca-core processor (two Cortex A-72 clocked at 2.1 GHz, four Cortex A53 running at 1.85 GHz and four Cortex A53 clocked at 1.4 GHz) with tri-cluster architecture, coupled with Mali T880 MP4 GPU.

InFocus Epic 1 supports 4G LTE and VoLTE. It comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB.

The device features a 8 MP f/1.8 secondary camera with wide-angle lens. The rear camera is a 16 MP f/2.0 shooter with dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus and auto image stabilization, and is capable of recording 4K videos.

InFocus Epic 1 comes with a full metal body design with a brushed-metal finish. It features a 5.5-inch FHD (1920x1080 pixels) display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The smartphone boasts of a fingerprint sensor at the rear. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with USB Type-C port with fast charging support.

InFocus Epic 1 will be available on Amazon starting tomorrow, at a price of ₹12,999 ($195 approx.).
