Samsung has today launched their latest smartphone under the J series of devices, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace. It is the company's most economical phone to come with front camera flash. Another affordable device, the Galaxy J1 4G, has also been launched.

The smartphone comes with the proprietary Ultra Data Saving mode, the S bike mode, and the S Power Planning feature. S Secure and Turbo Speed technology are also available. All these features are custom-built for the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace features a 5-inch qHD (Quarter High Definition) display, with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. It supports 4G LTE and VoLTE. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The battery capacity is 2,600 mAh.

The primary camera is a 8 MP f/2.2 lens with LED flash. The secondary camera is a 5 MP f/2.2 shooter and comes with selfie flash.

The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and 1.5 GB RAM. The internal memory is 8 GB, which is expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card. The rear panel has a unique anti-scratch pattern.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace comes in black, gold, and silver color options. It is priced at ₹8,490 ($125 approx.) and will be available January 16 onwards.
