Riding on the success of Moto 360 smartwatch, Motorola has finally launched the next version of this device in India today.
The case design features lugs specifically tailored for men and women, and polished bezels in new styles. One can choose from two case sizes - a 46 mm design, or a 42 mm one, for a sleeker and elegant look.
The Moto 360 (2nd gen) is IP67 rated, which means it is dust and water resistant. It is to be noted that it is recommended not to use it while swimming, diving or engaging in other underwater activities. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher, and iOS 8.2 or higher.
Powered by Android Wear, the watch gives you complete control right from your wrist. The device is WiFi enabled. The exclusive Live Dials also make it easier to dive in with shortcuts right on the watch.
Total five variants of the watch are introduced in India - three metal variants and two leather ones. Also, two variants are introduced exclusively for women - a distinctive rose gold with blush leather and natural metal. The men's variants will be available in cognac, black leather and black metal. The collection is available on Flipkart, starting at ₹19,999 ($300 approx.).
