Gionee has today launched their latest smartphone, the Gionee A1 Plus, in India. It is the elder sibling of Gionee A1, which was launched in the country earlier this year. Both these devices were first announced at the Mobile World Congress held in February 2017.

The smartphone comes with a dual-lens camera setup (f/2.0 13 MP and f/2.2 5 MP) at the rear. The secondary camera is a f/2.0 20 MP shooter with customized selfie flash.

The device runs on 4,550 mAh battery (capable of fast charging), 4 GB of RAM, MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor, and 64 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. The 6-inch full HD display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Gionee A1 Plus runs on Amigo 4 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is priced at ₹26,999 ($420 approx.).

Gionee S10, the alleged successor to last year’s S9, has been spotted at the Chinese certification website TENAA.

The device is expected to feature a metal unibody design, just like its predecessor. It will sport a 5.5-inch FHD display, with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.

The rear camera on the device will be a dual lens setup, with each lens being 13 MP. The secondary camera will be a 16 MP shooter, apparently hinting at another selfie-focused smartphone after the recently launched A1.

Gionee S10 will run on an octa-core chipset clocked at 2 GHz. It is safe to assume it will be the MediaTek Helio P20 since P10 was the one used in Gionee S9. The smartphone will feature 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, which will be expandable up to 128 GB via microSD.

The battery capacity will be 3,700 mAh. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the Home button in the front, just like its predecessor. The device supports 4G LTE and VoLTE. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

As per the listing, Gionee S10 will come in black and gold color options.

Gionee has launched their latest smartphone under the P series of devices, the Gionee Pioneer P7. It supports both CDMA and VoLTE, which is offered only by a handful of smartphones.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display. It runs on 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM. The front camera is a 5 MP lens and is combined with a face-beautify algorithm along with screen flash. The primary camera is a 8 MP shooter.

The internal memory is a 16 GB storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB. The device comes with a battery of 2,300 mAh capacity. It runs on Amigo OS 3.2, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Gionee has launched their latest device in the P series of smartphones, the P7 Max.

The device has a transparent and glittering textured finish. MT6595 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz powers the smartphone. The device comes with 3 GB RAM. 32 GB internal storage backs it, which can be expanded up to 128 GB.

Gionee has announced their latest smartphone under the F-series, the F103 Pro. It is the successor to their fashion-centric F103 device.

The smartphone features a metal body with a sleek finish. It runs on Amigo OS 3.2,  which is based on Android Marshmallow. The battery capacity of the device is 2,400 mAh.

The device is powered by 3 GB RAM and 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor. The inbuilt storage is 16 GB, which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It supports 4G LTE and VoLTE, along with the usual connectivity features like Bluetooth and WiFi. It is a dual SIM (both micro) smartphone.

Gionee F103 Pro comes with a 5.0-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved edge display, with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Dragon Trail glass is used for its protection.

Gionee has today launched the next smartphone in its successful huge-battery Marathon series of devices. The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus boasts of a 5,020 mAh battery, along with a smart power consumption system. It is their first smartphone with the new logo and was first released in China last year.

The smartphone features a full metal body. The device comes with a 6.0-inch 2.5D full HD AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.

The device is powered by 3 GB RAM and 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor. The onboard storage is 64 GB, out of which around 52 GB would be available for the user. It can also be expanded up to 128 GB via a micro SD card. Gionee Marathon M5 Plus is a dual SIM 4G LTE enabled smartphone. It supports VoLTE as well as CDMA bands. Fast charging is supported via the USB Type-C interface.

Gionee has today launched its latest flagship smartphone, the S8, at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. They have also unvieled a new logo and a new tagline.

The S8 comes with 2.5D glass coated with colorful VM which displays a multi-color effect at different angles. It comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The smartphone features a full metal design with the world’s first invisible loop antenna. It also supports 3D Touch, the same that's available on iOS devices. Touch, tap and press on the display can now be differentiated on your Android.

The device comes with a 16 MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, PDAF and a 6P lens. The front camera is an 8 MP sensor, which features a virtual flash, thanks to software technology.

The S8 also has text recognition. This enables users to share actual text from articles through photos. It supports dual 4G, FDD and TDD, and 7 modes and 14 bands. It runs on Amigo 3.2, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Using the embedded AKM4941 HD recording chip and the two highly sensitive microphones, the S8 allows users to capture videos with clear and high quality sound. Video editing is also simple as the phone’s video editor feature offers six sets of professional templates.

Chinese smartphone-maker Gionee has a device in every segment. Another entry-level device, the Gionee Pioneer P2M, was launched in July last year. In terms of specifications, the Pioneer P2M features a WVGA IPS display, powered by 1.3 GHz MT6580M MediaTek quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. It comes with 4-inch screen. The internal storage is 16 GB, and is expandable up to 32 GB. It runs on Android 5.1, and packs 3,000 mAh battery.

The smartphone features a WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. It has three capacitive buttons for Menu, Home and Back. All of these buttons are placed just below the display. Additionally, there is a 0.3 MP front-facing camera lens located above the display to the left of the earpiece, just opposite to the side where buttons are located. The earpiece is located in the center, on the top. To the right of the earpiece is the proximity sensor.

The smartphone's hardware includes 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB), a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash located below the camera lens. On the rear, the Gionee branding is present in the top-middle. The speaker grille is present at the bottom-left. The device has a removable back, and a removable battery.

The right side of the device features the power key and the volume rocker key. The device supports dual SIM, which can be inserted by opening the back cover. Additionally, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The 3.5 mm headset jack is at the top left.

The micro USB port is present at the bottom right, while the primary microphone is just next to it, on the left.

With a weight of just 140 grams and a comparatively smaller screen size, the device is easy to hold carry. And a price of just ₹6,999 ($105 approx.) for 3,000 mAh battery juice makes it a good buy.

The box contains the smartphone, along with a travel adaptor, a data cable, a user manual, a warranty card, a silicon back cover, a screen guard and a pair of earphones.

Gionee announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Marathon M5 Lite. It is a li(gh)ter version of its big brother, the Marathon M5, which was first announced in June last year, and later launched in India in November.

The smartphone boasts of an 8 MP rear camera, and 5 MP front camera. It has a 5 inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection, an internal memory capacity of 32 GB (expandable up to 128 GB) and 3 GB RAM.

The device is capable of reverse charging, i.e., it can be used as a power bank to charge spare cell phones. It runs on MediaTek MT6735 processor.
