[App] Cloud Storage made easy

As one of the latest innovations in the world of technology, cloud storage services are becoming increasingly popular for the advantages they provide over traditional storage mediums.

Cloud storage offers businesses as well as companies a great solution for their data storage needs. Cloud storage is a cheaper alternative to buying a hard drive. Having an offsite data storage options enables them to save money which otherwise they would have to spend on expensive servers and storage devices to store their important data and files.

Users may download and/or view any Microsoft Office file (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), PDF or image file and manage files and folders in much the same way you would at home, as the app gives you the ability to access, edit, search, bookmark and create documents to then be re-saved to the cloud.

Anyone wishing to use the app must enter the appropriate log-in information. This is clearly a security measure to ensure that only those authorized to access certain files can access them.

The Egnyte app

Useful features of this app are that file annotation is permitted and it includes notification tools that facilitate the true collaboration on collaborative projects.

The sharing of files with others without direct access to the cloud is made simple by the option to send files via email or as secure hyperlinks. Egnyte's security is impressive – and it needs to be – utilizing end-to-end encryption, with each user being allocated a key. This level of security is termed 'Enterprise-level' in the user manual, and it is clear that this app is designed specifically with businesses in mind.

Appearance

The layout of the Egnyte app is highly professional, with buttons, tabs and pages arranged logically. Also, it is very easy to use, even for those not at all familiar with cloud storage.
