Mobile gaming on smartphones
If you are looking for a good way to pass time while travelling to work, then playing games on your mobile phone is probably one of the best ways to do so. And if you are an avid gamer, I better be quiet. Nearly everybody these days has a mobile phone that can run games, and because of this reason, the mobile game market is booming. There are hundreds and thousands of games that you can play online.

There is a plethora of very different smartphones that you can now buy, so it's hard to choose which one is right for you. The best way to decide this is by knowing your budget, i.e., how much are you actually willing to spend on a phone. If you want to get a top end smartphone, then you're looking at a few hundred dollars. However, there exist phones which are much cheaper and still able to perform majority of the tasks you will wish it could do (I am hoping your wishes will be bound to something realistic, and not like time-travelling or other stuff).

When looking for phone manufacturers, there will be a few companies that you will surely come across. These include Apple, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, Sony and also Google (Yes! Ever heard of Nexus?). The operating system of the device also plays a key role when it comes to phones. Currently, the trending mobile operating systems are iOS, Android and Windows (You read it right! It is also on hand-held devices). All these operating systems are capable enough to play advance games like N.O.V.A. 3 or Samurai 2 Vengeance to cheap games like Angry Birds or Cut the Rope.

Talking about Apple, Steve Jobs has resulted in many useful technological innovations. Hence, its no wonder that Apple rules most of the US mobile phone market. Blackberry has not impressed much in the recent past. Nokia is able to prevail in the market due to its Lumia series of smartphones, which runs on Windows. Although all Samsung devices look alike, Galaxy S4 is worth a try.

iPhones from Apple were the first to really revolutionize the way we use smartphones to date. This is because they introduced many of the touchscreen features that we enjoy, such as swiping and multi-finger input support. iPhone 5S is rumored to be presented with a number of improved features, including a faster Apple-built CPU and a dual-LED flash. iPhone 5 features a larger display, a faster chip, the latest wireless technology and an 8MP iSight camera. It is, by far, the best smartphone in the market.

Coming back to mobile gaming, following smartphones are the best:

There is enough space for controls and other relevant stuff. If you are a games and in love with Android, do not hesitate to give this beast a try.

Sony Xperia Z

Sony Xperia Z

Since this smartphone is from a manufacturer who is a leading producer of gaming consoles, the huge variety of games which it offers are endless. You can download games either from the Android App store, or can also try the Playstation Network as the smartphone is Playstation certified. The HD resolution ensures that the rich colors of the games do not fade.

Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung Galaxy S4

Storage is never a problem with Samsung devices. The expandable limit is more than enough to carry a heap of games at a time. The screen size won't be a problem - there is ample space to easily enjoy the game.

Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia Lumia 900

Like the Playstation facility in Sony, Nokia has a collaboration with Microsoft and thus, it offers the feastures of XBox Live. You can log in to gain access to your avatar, play exclusive games, build your score, and unlock other cool XBox features. As far as the collection of games is concerned, the number of apps for Windows are far less than those available for android. But with recent developments, I hope this gap will soon be covered. Even though the processor is a single core, the apps run without any lag or glitch.
