The company is hosting a press event on June 3 in New Delhi, the capital city. They are calling it "the next big thing".

Phicomm all set to unveil Passion 660 on 3 June 2015

Although the Shanghai-based company holds a mere 1% of the market share in its home country, it has huge plans for India.

In terms of specifications, the device is rumored to feature an IPS LCD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 2 GB RAM. It will come with a 5 inch screen. The internal storage will be 32 GB, which shall be expandable via the microSD slot. It will run on Android KitKat and will pack 2,300 mAh battery. The smartphone will also feature a 13 MP rear camera with an LED flash, along with a 5 MP secondary camera. It is also expected to support the dual SIM feature. It will also be 4G LTE enabled.

With such awesome technical specifications, the device is all set to compete against the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4i, Nubia Z9 Mini and Meizu M1 Note (hands-on experience). Undoubtedly, the pricing will play a very important role.

The device is expected to come in two color variants - black and white. It is also expected that they will follow the flash-sale approach too. We should know more details regarding the pricing and availability after the launch.
