The device indicates the leap into a new era, not only for Meizu products, but also in the complete company strategy as well. The smartphone, which focuses on "Quality for the Young" is derived from the Meizu theory of pursuing the ultimate, to make products that feature "better quality, better experience and cheaper price".
With a screen size of 5.5-inch and width of 75.2 mm only, the body-to-screen ratio of 76% allows for an easy one-handed use of the phablet. The 1080p Full-HD display which has 403 PPI ensure high resolution images. The whole surfaces of the device is engraved by lightly CNC machine to remove any imperfections and reveal a perfect, high-precision body. The magnesium alloy chassis holds the battery, camera, processor and other internal modules, so it has to be solid and reliable. To make the panel structurally strong, the phone undergoes 19 delicate procedures, including rough and fine peening, washing, polishing, forming and shaping. Despite the heightened difficulty in the production process, this has substantially boosted the structural reliability of the entire handset. The polycarbonate unibody design, introduced for the first time in a budget phone with pre-colored polycarbonate makes the phone uniform and light with vivid, durable and a natural cover.
The 64-bit MT6752 octa-core processor ensures a powerful and efficient performance. The processor that has 8 advanced 1.7 GHz A53 cores and Mali-T760 MP2 GPU ensures enhanced video and gaming experience.
The 13 megapixel camera with the CMOS from Samsung, shoots colorful and sharp photos. The dual LED flash makes the picture bright even under low light.
The device has dual SIM support for different needs, one SIM for 4G high speed network and another for 2G phone call network. It has been fitted with a 3,140 mAh Sony/ATL battery and a sophisticated power management processor, ensuring a long run time. It will be available in two color versions - blue and white.
