[Smartphone] Lenovo A1000 launched in India, to be available offline

With the festival of Diwali a few days from now, Lenovo has launched the A1000. It is a known fact that the sale of electronics items increases manifold in India during the festive season. In order to cash this golden time, the manufacturer has decided to launch three new smartphones. Note that Lenovo A6000 Shot and Lenovo K3 Note Music have also been launched.

The device comes with a 4-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels.

The smartphone is made keeping in mind the budget conscious consumers. It is the latest addition to the successful A series in India. Powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB), and Android Lollipop 5.0, the device offers great value.

The smartphone is 10.6 mm thick, and weighs 132 grams.

The smartphone is equipped with 5 MP rear camera, and a 0.3 MP front camera. It supports 3G on first SIM, while 2G on the other, and is backed by 2,000 mAh battery.

It will be available in the last week of October in leading retail outlets across the country, and will be priced at 
₹4,999 ($75 approx.).
