[Smartphone] Videocon Infinium Z40 Quad - the selfie phone launched

The selfie-obsessed Indian mobile phone market got a new paradigm today when Videocon launched Infinium Z40 Quad. It is designed to offer superb camera capabilities to the end user, thus enabling the perfect shot in each click! The device is termed the 'selfie phone'.

Since, clicking a selfie and sharing it on social networks is the new trend in town, the demand for such camera-featured phones has been created. Selfies have now become a medium to express oneself! To cater to this increasing demand, Videocon has launched this smartphone which features a 3.2 MP front camera, and a 5 MP rear camera with auto focus. To add to this, the device also features a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

The device keeps its users always connected via a range of networking and connectivity options like GPS/A-GPS, G/P/L Sensor, 3.75G and WiFi. It is powered by Android KitKat 4.4 operating system, and has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor that is powered by a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM. The device also offers great entertainment options that include a pre-installed Hungama music app which gives access to 100 free content download for 30 days, along with preinstalled Gameloft games like Spiderman and Bubble Bash 3. For security, the device is being offered with a pre-installed V-Secure application with 90 days free trial that helps in providing mobile security.
