Huawei today launched in China its much-awaited smartphone, the Huawei Honor 7.
A meticulously crafted device flaunting a 5.2 inch display
(with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels), it also boasts of an
impressive, 20 MP phase detection auto-focus rear camera with Dual LED flash and a 8 MP
front camera with fixed focus and a LED flash.
Three different variants are launched. The standard 3G model with 16 GB internal memory is priced at 1999 Yuan ($320). The one with dual SIM 4G LTE support and 16 GB internal storage is priced at 2199 Yuan ($355). The top end variant with 64 GB internal memory and 4G LTE is priced at 2499 Yuan ($400).
Powered by a 3,100 mAh battery, this device takes around 90 minutes for a full charge, and 30 minutes for a 50% charge.
The smartphone sports a 64-bit octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, backed by a
MALI-T628 GPU and 3 GB RAM. It also offers 16/64 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot
which can expand the storage by an additional 128 GB.
