[Smartphone] Videocon Z51Q Star launched

With an aim to reach out new-age mobile consumers and empower them with affordable smartphones, Videocon has launched the Z51Q Star.

Providing affordable Android experience, the device comes with a rich 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive display. It is power packed with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 1 GB RAM and 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

The smartphone is equipped with 5 MP BSI auto-focus rear camera, and a 2 MP front camera. It is packed with 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB), supports dual SIM, and is backed by 2,000 mAh battery.

The device comes pre-loaded with a V-Safe app, a safety tool designed for women, elderly people and children for security purpose in case of emergencies. There is also a V-Secure mobile security app to protect the device against malware and malicious apps.

The smartphone is available in Black color, and is priced at ₹5,490 ($85 approx.).
