[Smartphone] Meizu M2 to launch in India next week

Meizu today announced its plans to launch the new Meizu M2 in India next week. The manufacturer is committed to setting the benchmark for customer satisfaction by offering them the best technology, design and superior user experience integrated into one unit.

The 64-bit MT6735 quad-core processor provides the smartphone with powerful and efficient performance. The processor has four advanced 1.3 GHz Cortex A53 cores, and is coupled with Mali-T720 GPU.

The smartphone offers quality for the young through its rich mix of high tech hardware and customized Flyme OS 4.5 (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop), at an affordable price point. On the hardware front, it comes with a unibody design and a metal like finesse to offer superior user experience. With an expandable storage capacity of 128 GB, the device offers its customers maximum flexibility for carrying data, music and videos on the go.

The smartphone has a 5-inch screen, with 720p Full-HD resolution. The GFF full lamination technology is expected to minimize reflection and improve display quality.

The device is equipped with a Samsung 13 MP CMOS camera, which produces rich, sharp and extremely detailed pictures. The zero-delay shooting technology captures every beautiful moment. The upgraded FotoNation beautifying system in the 5 MP front camera has been upgraded to share consumer pictures easily.

The smartphone supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G. Two nano SIM cards can be inserted into a single tray. The card tray supports microSD card, with a storage capacity of 128 GB.

The device is made from a polycarbonate unibody, which makes it uniform and light. Additionally the unibody composition allows the design to be sleek and slim. Furthermore, it is available in a vibrant color range of White, Blue, Grey and Pink. The price is yet to be revealed, but we expect it to be within the sub 10K range.
